An article in last month’s New Scientist detailed the journalist’s top ten ways for individuals to take on climate change. Slightly surprisingly, one of them was to arrange for an eco-friendly burial (courtesy of Natural Death in the UK). Now, the ever-enthusiastic folks over at WorldChanging have written a detailed piece about environmentally friendly final arrangements. Death rites are still not talked about very much in our wipe-clean society, and this article is worth reading for the challenge to convention as much as its content.
