Well, Wake Up to Trade Justice was a blast. I managed to make a bish of it straightaway by missing the train down to London and then having to run all the way from King’s Cross to the restaurant. The organisation was a little lacking, but I suppose that was understandable given that they’d expected 5000 people and got somewhere between 7,000 (police estimate) and 25,000 (their estimate). Anyone who’s interested can check out the BBC report.

On the morning march, I had never been so tired. It wasn’t just the staying awake, it was the constantly being on my feet doing things. I’ve fallen asleep on my feet before, but not whilst walking. You could see other people doing it as well – their head would droop a little and they’d stumble before snapping out of it.
